Time Delivery ("we", "our", or "us") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our food delivery mobile application Time Delivery (package name: com.timedelivery.app). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you register.
- Order Information: Delivery addresses, order contents, special instructions, and transaction records.
- Profile Information: Profile photo and any other information you add to your profile.
1.2 Location Data — Collected Automatically
This section comprehensively discloses how the App accesses and uses location data, as required by the Google Play User Data policy.
What we collect: We collect your device's precise GPS location (latitude & longitude) and, where GPS is unavailable, approximate location derived from Wi-Fi or mobile network signals.
When we collect it — Foreground Only:
- Customers — Location is collected only while the App is open and visible on screen (foreground). We do not collect your location in the background, when the App is minimised, or when it is closed.
- Delivery Drivers — Location is collected while the App is open in the foreground during an active delivery to show your real-time position to the assigned customer. We do not access location while the App is in the background or closed.
Why we collect location data:
- Displaying nearby restaurants relevant to your current area.
- Letting you set and confirm your delivery address on the in-app map.
- Enabling customers to see the delivery driver's real-time position during an active delivery.
- Calculating accurate delivery time estimates and fees based on distance.
- Helping delivery drivers navigate to the pickup restaurant and customer's address.
Who has access: Your location is sent to our backend servers to power the features above. During an active delivery, the customer sees the driver's approximate map position. We do not share location data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
How to manage it: Revoke location permission anytime via Settings → Apps → Time Delivery → Permissions → Location. This may limit map features but will not prevent manual-address ordering.
1.3 Other Automatically Collected Data
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: Screens visited, features used, crash logs, and time spent in the App.
- Push Notification Token: A token to deliver order-status and promotional notifications. Android 13+ requires explicit user permission before notifications are sent.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Process, fulfill, and track your food orders.
- Display nearby restaurants based on your foreground location.
- Show real-time delivery tracking on the in-app map.
- Calculate delivery times and fees based on distance.
- Send order status notifications and important account alerts.
- Improve App features and diagnose technical issues via crash reports.
- Detect and prevent fraud and ensure platform security.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as described below:
- Restaurants: Your name, order details, and delivery address to prepare and dispatch your order.
- Delivery Drivers: Your name, phone number, and delivery address to complete the delivery. Drivers also share their foreground location with you on the map during active delivery.
- Payment Processors: Payment details are transmitted securely to our payment partners and are not stored on our servers.
- Analytics Providers: Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics only.
- Legal Authorities: Where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal data while your account is active or as needed to provide services. Request account deletion by emailing deliverytime4@gmail.com. Location data from active sessions is not stored beyond what is necessary to complete the delivery.
5. Data Security
We use HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit and implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No electronic storage method is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights
- Access and update your profile information in the App settings.
- Request account and data deletion by contacting us.
- Revoke location or notification permissions at any time in device settings.
- Opt out of promotional communications via in-App notification settings.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us immediately if you believe a child has provided personal data.
8. Changes to This Policy
Material changes will be reflected with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
